Three classifications of stainless steel pipe fittings

Stainless steel pipe fittings are divided into socket welding type, butt welding type and compression type

1. Socket welding stainless steel pipe fittings are the pipe fittings that insert the stainless steel pipe into the socket part of the pipe fitting and then conduct argon arc welding along the edge of the pipe fitting. They are the most reliable connection methods among all connection methods. Inner diameter of pipe socket=outer diameter of pipe. According to the edge welding part of pipe fittings, it can be divided into three types of pipe fittings: slope edge extension, step edge extension and no extension. The specification of socket welding is generally DN15-DN100.

2. Butt welding of stainless steel pipe fittings is to make a circle of argon arc welding along the butt joint between stainless steel pipe and pipe fittings, which generally requires additional welding. Outer diameter of pipe fitting socket=outer diameter of pipe. Butt welding is generally used for welding stainless steel piping systems with large specifications.

3. The clamping pipe fittings are characterized by reliable and safe connection, convenient and fast construction, suitable for embedded installation, maintenance free updating, and relatively superior economy. The working principle of the clamping type pipe fitting is to insert the thin-walled stainless steel pipe into the socket of the clamping type pipe fitting, and use a special clamping tool to clamp the stainless steel pipe in the pipe fitting. The section shape of the clamping position is hexagonal. In addition, there is an O-ring seal between the stainless steel pipe and the pipe fitting, which makes it have the characteristics of anti leakage, anti pulling, anti vibration, high pressure resistance, etc.
